The fact is that people like to do business with pleasant people that they like and trust. There is a Bank that I use that always makes me feel better just for walking in the lobby. There is another Bank, just down the road, that is not nearly as professional. They both provide the same services at basically the same rates. One makes me feel like a welcome Guest and the other makes me feel like an inconvenience.
In most Department Stores, the products are the same. A towel is a towel, a shirt or blouse is just that, a sock is a sock......you get the picture. The only real difference is the people. So is there a deep, dark secret to being successful, or is it so simple that we overlook it?
